Looper allowed one earned run in 6.1 innings to pick up his sixth win of the season on Monday.
Recommendation: Looper allowed seven hits and only struck out two, but worked out of some jams to get the victory. There was some concern after he was hit on the arm by a line drive in his last start, but it didn't look like it affected him.

RHP Braden Looper, struck on the pitching arm Wednesday night by a line drive off the bat of Minnesota's Carlos Gomez, was examined Thursday by team physician Dr. William Raasch. Looper was deemed to have no more than a bruise and is not expected to miss his next start.
