Recommendation: Astros manager Cecil Cooper acknowledged the statistic to reporters on Tuesday, saying "I don’t have an answer. I know he has been awfully good in that spot." Cooper should keep Tejada hitting up in the lineup as long as he stays hot.

Tejada hit an RBI double in the third inning and delivered a winning sacrifice fly in the eighth as the Astros beat the Tigers 5-4 on Friday night.
Advice: Tejada finished with two hits for his NL-leading 30th multihit game. He's batting a team-best .330. "For our team it's really, really big," he said of Friday's win. "Now I think we get some games from other teams and that's what we'll continue to do."
