RHP Derek Lowe, when asked for a reaction to the comments by RHP Chris Perez, who ripped Indians fans for their lack of support, said, "The attendance is what it is. Who am I to say who should or shouldn't come to the games? My job is to play baseball. In my opinion, it's not our place to tell people to come to our games."

Lowe tossed a complete game shutout against the Twins on Tuesday afternoon to earn his sixth win of the season.
Recommendation: Although he walked four, Lowe held the Twins to six hits in the outing and became the first pitcher since Scott Erickson to toss a complete game without recording a strikeout. Lowe threw 127 pitches in Tuesday's start, including 115 sinkers while getting the Twins to pound the ball into the infield grass throughout the afternoon.
