Jul 5 Batista (back) won't return to the rotation until he makes a relief appearance, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports.

Recommendation: Batista has been available to pitch the past few days, but hasn't gotten into any games. The team says he's healthy, but it wants to see him in action first before sticking him back into the rotation.
