Marlins at Mets (88-73), 1:10 ET
Nationals at Phillies (88-73), 1:35 ET
Padres (89-72) at Brewers, 2:05 ET
Diamondbacks at Rockies (88-73), 3:05 ET

Here are the postseason scenarios for the four NL games that matter Sunday. Note that the Diamondbacks have clinched the NL West (and top seed in the playoffs) even if they and the Padres finish 90-72 by virtue of winning the season series 10-8.

Padres win
Padres clinch wild card and eliminate Rockies. Padres will play East champion in NLDS, and Cubs will face Diamondbacks. If Mets and Phillies both win or both lose, Mets visit Phillies on Monday,

Padres lose, Rockies lose, Mets and/or Phillies lose
Padres win wild card and visit East winner in NLDS. If both Phillies and Mets lose, Mets visit Phillies on Monday.

Padres lose, Rockies lose, Mets win, Phillies win
Rockies eliminated. Mets visit Phillies on Monday to determine East champion. Loser faces Padres for the wild card on Tuesday; Padres would host Phillies and visit Mets.

Padres lose, Rockies win, Mets or Phillies lose
Padres visit Rockies on Monday for wild card. In NLDS, Phillies or Mets (whoever won) hosts winner and Diamondbacks host Cubs.

Padres lose, Rockies win, Mets win, Phillies win
All four teams finish 89-73, meaning the NLDS cannot begin until Thursday. Mets visit Phillies on Monday to determine East champion.

The Rockies, Padres and Monday's loser remain tied. The Rockies have the best head-to-head record among the three (regardless of whether Mets or Phillies lose). The Rockies either can choose to play a home game Tuesday and, if they win, a home game Wednesday, or they can opt to let the Padres and the East runner-up play Tuesday, with the winner hosting the Rockies on Wednesday.

If the Rockies choose to play Wednesday on the road, the Padres would host the Mets or visit the Phillies on Tuesday, with the winner hosting the Rockies on Wednesday for the wild card.

If the Rockies choose to stay at home, the Phillies (if they lost to the Mets on Monday) or Padres (if the Phillies beat the Mets) would choose to play Tuesday at the Rockies, then (if they win) Wednesday at home against the Padres or Mets, OR simply play Wednesday at the winner of Padres-Rockies or Mets-Rockies.

By team:

Padres: Clinch wild card with win OR both Rockies loss and either Mets or Phillies loss. Cannot be eliminated Sunday. Would visit Rockies in a two-team playoff Monday, or visit the Mets or host the Phillies on Tuesday if those two teams tie.

They would face East winner in NLDS.

Mets: Clinch East with win and Phillies loss. Eliminated with loss AND Phillies win. Eliminated from wild-card contention with loss OR Padres win. Would visit Phillies on Monday if teams finish tied.

If Padres and Rockies lose Sunday and Mets and Phillies win, then Mets lose to Phillies on Monday, Mets would host Padres on Tuesday. If Padres lose Sunday and Mets, Phillies and Rockies win, then Mets lose to Phillies on Monday, Mets would enter three-team mini-tournament with Padres and Rockies (see "Padres lose, Rockies win, Mets win, Phillies win" above).

If wild card, they would face Diamondbacks in NLDS. If East champion, they would face wild card, unless Phillies win wild card, in which case they would face the Cubs.

Phillies: Clinch East with win and Mets loss. Eliminated with loss AND Mets win. Eliminated from wild-card contention with loss OR Padres win. Would host Mets on Monday if teams finish tied.

If Padres and Rockies lose Sunday and Mets and Phillies win, then Phillies lose to Mets on Monday, Phillies would visit Padres on Tuesday. If Padres lose Sunday and Mets, Phillies and Rockies win, then Phillies lose to Mets on Monday, Phillies would enter three-team mini-tournament with Padres and Rockies (see "Padres lose, Rockies win, Mets win, Phillies win" above).

If wild card, they would face Diamondbacks in NLDS. If East champion, they would face wild card, unless Mets win wild card, in which case they would face the Cubs.

Rockies: Cannot clinch playoff berth Sunday. Eliminated with loss OR Padres win. If Rockies win, Padres lose, and either Mets or Phillies lose, Rockies host Padres on Monday for the wild card.

If Rockies, Mets and Phillies win (and Padres lose), Rockies choose to play one road game or two home games: either Wednesday AT the winner of Tuesday's game between the Padres and the NL East runner-up, OR Tuesday at home against either the Padres or NL East runner-up, then Wednesday (if they win Tuesday) against the other team.

They would face East winner in NLDS.
