Twins to activate OF White from disabled list
MINNEAPOLIS (TICKER) —The Minnesota Twins are expected to activate outfielder Rondell White from the 15-day disabled list prior to Monday’s game against Toronto.
White was placed on the DL on April 10 with a strained right calf. The move was retroactive to April 5.
A 14-year veteran, White has appeared in just three games this season hitting .111 (1-for-9).
The Twins optioned outfielder Garrett Jones to Class AAA Rochester to make room for White. Jones hit .160 (4-for-25) with one double and one triple in 10 games.
