Jarrod Washburn: Twins Interested

  • Print

Update: Minnesota is interested in signing Washburn as they seek to add one or two veteran pitchers to the rotation, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Washburn is recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery in October.

Recommendation: The Twins have shown interest in Washburn before as they tried to trade for him in 2008. There’s some thought the western Wisconsin native may want to sign with the Twins to play close to home.

Are you saying Rick Knapp isn't a good pitching coach? The Tigers bullpen was supposed to suck at the beginning of the year and thanks to Knapp, it was better than the Twins.

Ill be first one and welcome Jarad home. The Twins need a solid pitcher. Washburn has been a solid producer over many season for Seattle, and his stint for the Tiger was because he didnt havent a great pictching coach like Anderson. I want the Twins to be bring the Webster kid back home, give him at least a 2 year contract. He'll have some good experince to give these kids advice like another Western Wisconsin kid, in the name of Brad Radke.
