SAN DIEGO (AP)—The San Diego Padres have outrighted utilityman Edgar Gonzalez to Triple-A Portland, moving him off the 40-man roster.

He is the older brother of first baseman Adrian Gonzalez(notes).

Edgar Gonzalez was on the disabled list from mid-July to early September after getting hit in the head with a pitch.

Why does Yahoo! Sports place posts that have nothing to do with current articles? Seriously, why? This article is November 4, and the posts are from late May?
