Now he's also part of one of the summer's hottest jams.
Check out the New York Mets shortstop in "No Hay Amigo," a Dominican rap song that was released in 2010 but now features a "Big Pimpin'"-style video and enough autotune that it should decrease Reyes' overall WAR on simple principle.
Since I don't speak Spanish "ike4president" at MetsBlog has a part translation:
In one part he says that: Tu eres malo yo lo se y en la cara se te ve que quieres janguiar conmigo solo para que yo te de. Donde estaba usted cuando yo practicaba sin comer y duraba una semana con el mismo polo shirt.
There he says that: Youre bad i know it and in your face i can notice that you want to hang out with just for the money. Then he says : Where were you when i practice hungry and spent a week with the same shirt.
I'm also not a big expert on rap music in any language, so I'll ask the question: What do you think? Are Reyes' rapping talents good enough to earn him "Carl Crawford money"?
