Tony Romo butchers the 7th Inning Stretch at Wrigley Field

Since I used a post on Friday to do my best Simon Cowell impersonation on Amanda Overmyer and her rendition of the National Anthem at the Cubs-D'Backs game, it's only fair that I also post Tony Romo's "singing" of Take Me Out To The Ballgame.

Perhaps needless to say, it is much, much worse than Ms. Overmyer's needless "interpretation." While I like Romo as much as a Bears fan can (I spent some time in his hometown in Wisconsin last season and he's as humble a star you could meet), this is about as bad as it gets. I never thought I'd say this, but where's Ms. Simpson when you need her?

    That was REALLY, REALLY bad... like, so bad that the Cubs should've had to forfeit for getting him to sing... That was TERRIBLE... yikes.

    If he wants to sing, go to american idol.i wonder what jessica thought of this one. Thats a very bad "performance" and ruins his own reputation. he screwed up

    It was bad, but at least he only sang half the song and let the crowd sing the rest. He's a football player, not a singer!!!!
