In my IM conversations this afternoon, friends and colleagues on the West Coast have shrugged off today's earthquake like we Midwesterners might do to four inches of February snow. With the news that tonight's Dodgers-Giants game at Chavez Ravine will go on as scheduled, the Dodgers are doing the same.
"Those in the stadium at the time of the earthquake certainly felt it, but there was no damage whatsoever," Dodgers spokesman Josh Rawitch said. "The game is expected to be played as scheduled."
Everyone should feel free to resume their jokes about Andruw Jones falling out of bed ... now.
