You know, when he's engaged in his life activities after baseball ... bowling, driving around, the occasional acid flashback, occupying various administration buildings, smoking a lot of thai stick, breaking into the ROTC, bowling ..
Also, we might have a good idea of how his interviews with other baseball GMs the rest of the season are going to go.
Baseball GM: Are you employed, sir?
Baseball GM: You don't go out looking for a job dressed like that? On a weekday?
Sexson: Is this a... what day is this?
You can imagine where it goes from there (he fixes the cable?), but here's the main reason I started looking for pictures of Richie Sexson in the first place: The Seattle bar that was selling beer in accordance to Sexson's batting average will continue the 'Cheap Sexson' promotion if he gets a job elsewhere. Rich at Home Run Derby has the story.
Considering there aren't many bars in Seattle where you can get four beers for under a 10-spot, let's hope Mr. Sexson lands on his feet somewhere else.
Because I'm not really sure how Norm's Eatery and Ale House would tie-in a cheap drink special to Sexson working in the music business, as a roadie for Metallica ... Speed of Sound tour.
If anyone else has a good Sexson-Lebowski tie-in, leave it in the comments below.
