A commercial flight? After possibly spoiling Chicago's first shot at a Crosstown Series since 1906? No way. No how.
That's why White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen says he'll be needing the use of owner Jerry Reinsdorf's private plane if the White Sox don't make the postseason, simply because he wouldn't be able to look at anyone.
From the Chicago Tribune:
"I don't have the guts to look at the people's faces in O'Hare Airport or Midway after this season.
"Then I won't have to see anyone in the airport and feel embarrassed or disappointed. I can get to Miami, where nobody really knows the White Sox. I will be embarrassed and I will be disappointed about seeing the people in the airport, seeing their faces, because we let them down."
After losing five straight to come into today's game, can you blame him? However, Reinsdorf doesn't have to call the boys down at the hangar just yet. The White Sox are leading Cleveland 3-1 in the top of the fourth with a win guaranteeing a makeup game against Detroit on Monday.
In Minneapolis, the Twins lead the Royals in the third, 1-0.

You do realize Ozzie has won a world series within the past five years, right? Ozzie doesn't put the bullpen together, that'd be Kenny Williams.

A ChiSox/Cubs WS would be pretty insane and incredibly entertaining to watch, but I'm going to predict a Cubs/BoSox WS this year.
