It isn't surprising that a rookie outfielder might be staying in a spring training apartment that looks similar to any of our old college habitats. What's surprising, though, is that Chris Dickerson has a copy of a Thomas Friedman book — not a copy of Maxim — on his bed.
Dickerson seems like an interesting guy and one perfectly suited for a future Answer Man session. (Are you reading this, Dave?) Check out Dickerson's new environmental group WePlayGreen, which he started with Jack Cassel and also mentions in the video.
UPDATE: Our man C. Trent passes along this interview he did with Dickerson and my hunch is proven right. He's not kidding about the enivronmental stuff either. In addition to winning rookie of the year, Dickerson says one of his main goals is "for Al Gore to come to a game."
