As a reminder that you can't fight square dance in the middle of a baseball game, Major League Baseball just laid the Royals and White Sox over its knee for a spanking over Sunday's fight in K.C. The sentences, via a MLB press release:
• Miguel Olivo, Royals catcher, 5 games — "For charging the mound, which incited the bench clearing incident during the bottom of the fifth inning, and for throwing a punch during the incident." Ruling will be appealed.
• Zack Greinke, Royals pitcher, 5 games — "For intentionally throwing at a batter during the top of the seventh inning after warnings had been issued to both Clubs following the bench clearing incident." Ruling will be appealed.
• Trey Hillman, Royals manager, 1 game — "For the intentional actions of Greinke after warnings had been issued earlier in the game." Suspension will be served tonight against Boston.
• Ozzie Guillen, White Sox manager, 2 games — "For his aggressive actions during the incident, which included making contact with Umpire Tim Timmons, and for his comments following the game. Guillen will begin to serve his suspension tonight, when the White Sox host the Detroit Tigers."
Everything seems pretty standard and I'm sure Olivo and Greinke will welcome a vacation from the oppressive Kansas City once the suspensions have to be served. However, the most interesting thing about this is that not one White Sox player — not even D.J. Carrasco, who hit Olivo on his third straight inside pitch — was suspended. That would seem to indicate that baseball believes Ozzie Guillen when he says his team wasn't intentionally throwing at the Royals.
(A belief that would be backed by the bases being loaded at the time.)

That being said, Guillen is by far the only guy I want managing this team.

The fact is, these teams have been going at it all year. When Olivo was hit, it was the 8th time a KC batter has been hit by a Sox pitcher in 12 games this season (3 times by Guillens "Hit Man" Dotel). When Greinke hit Swisher, that was the 7th time a Royals pitcher has hit a Sox batter. This isn't new, and it's not the last time it will happen.

1) If you know baseball you never hit a batter on purpose with sacks packed.
2) Carassco should never have even been ejected (no warning does not warrent an ejection the reason ozzie was pi$$ed)
2b) Carassco was defending himself hence the light slap he held back knowing that AJ help up Olivo
3) Ozzie had every right to be mad about Carassco getting tossed hence his fit and ejection (suspension was only due to his comments)
4) Greinke got suspended 5 games like Olivo because 5 gamed for a starter = 1 start for all you "basbeball fans"
5) People that hat Ozzie are Cubs fans or people with no IQ ( ex: cub fans)
In general.. dont make dumb post not understanding the game or even watching the game to see how things transpired.
