Jacoby Ellsbury finally becomes the subject of a pop song
Ever wondered what a Jacoby Ellsbury tribute song performed by a Cake-knockoff band of Red Sox fans might sound like? No? Not ever?
Well, listen to this annoying yet poppy lovefest from The Boston Baseball Band anyway. Then thank me once you've got it stuck in your head at the gym later today.
In case you're questioning why a speedy centerfielder with plenty of liabilities is more deserving of a song than other Red Sox might be, don't fret. TBBB also gives David Ortiz the treatment on YouTube, though it's nowhere near as catchy than Jacoby's ditty. They also released the Go Red Sox album in 2007 and their ode to Hazel Mae is awesome in a stalkeriffic sort of way. Go ahead and take a listen.
