Seeing as how Brewermania is helping our fine neighbors forget about the horrifying possibility of Matt Flynn under center, I just checked the most accurate frenzy barometer there is to get a read on the levels of excitement in MKE.
I am talking, of course, about the wonder that is Milwaukee's Craigslist site.
Thing is, you can immediately tell that it's been 26 years since the Crew were in the playoffs because absolutley no one has any idea what tickets should go for or what they're worth.
Hell, you wouldn't either, if the last price you paid for a Milwaukee playoff game was smuggling a six-pack of Schlitz and a fifth of Jack into County Stadium and splitting it with your co-worker buddy from Mukwonago.
Browsing the ads posted there, Wisconsinites are willing to trade any of the following for a ticket or tickets to this weekend's games at Miller Park — a tablet of generic Viagra, tickets to a Celine Dion concert (!), tickets to Marquette basketball (25-10 last season, but no more Tom Crean) and a powder blue Cecil Cooper bobblehead (currently listed on eBay with a price of 99 cents).
C'mon people. If you're going to pry Brewers tickets from the Milwaukee faithful, you know you have to open with an opening bid of a Metallica concert and that's just to START the discussion.

Viagra??? R. Palmero must have put that post.
The basketball ticket I can understand
A bobble is kinda a low offer.
I wonder how many tickets out there for sale are actually being held by brewers fans and not money grubbing whores
