Feel the adorable! Tim Lincecum and his French bulldog Cy

I remember hearing that Tim Lincecum(notes) was going to buy himself a dog in celebration of his 2008 Cy Young award, but completely forgot about the hound until reading about him in Jayson Stark's column on the Giants' win over Colorado on Monday night.

That led me to an Internet search, which led me to FanIQ, which led me to Black Oak French Bulldogs, which led me to these photos of Tim and Cy — Best. Name. Ever. — at their first meeting at Black Oak French Bulldogs. Why the calendar companies haven't approached Lincecum with numerous offers, I have no idea. (C'mon, you know you'd buy one.)

    The Giants should hire that dog as hitting coach. I'm sure he could do a better job than Lansford.

    I'd get one! They did it here in Atlanta, the players and their pets. The Giants (or MLB as a whole) should do a calendar and Lincey and Cy could head it up.

    Lansford is not the problem. The Giants have not hitters. You can't teach a seal to fly.

    I would definitely buy one! And hopefully he'll win the Cy Young this year, that would mean he will buy another dog and name it Young. That would be awesome. Cy Young!
