Now here's something you don't see every day. Despite being traded to Boston earlier in the day, Adam LaRoche(notes) (left) kept wearing his Pirates uniform and sat on the bench with his brother, Andy (right) during Pittsburgh's 8-7 victory over Milwaukee on Wednesday afternoon. (Word has it that Adam will finally join the Red Sox in Boston on Friday.)
UPDATE: LaRoche didn't find out about the trade until the sixth inning (though "he kind of knew") and wanted to stick around to support his new former teammates. Said Prince Fielder(notes): "Why was he still in uniform? I'd have been gone."
So have at it, amateur Internet copy editors of the world. How should this caption read?
1st — exactfully. "I wasn't stealing the base. I was just borrowing it. Somebody else can have it later I promise. Just please don't tell my parents!"
2nd — scott H. "The Blue Jays want WHAT for Halladay?!?"
3rd — goldfinger1124. "Ump: How dare you cheat on Kate like that! Shane: What are you talking about?! For the last time, I'm not Jon Gosselin!"
