Big League Stew - MLB

Yes, the Giambino 'Stache is back! Or has been, for about three weeks. Giambi wasn't swinging like a has-been Tuesday night when he lined a three-run, go-ahead homer for the Athletics. Unlike his formidable mustache, the A's came up short against the Dodgers.

But, as this pose at the cage shows, Giambi's grill is ready for what, perhaps, is a final chance at face time in the majors.

So have at it, amateur Internet copy editors of the world. How should this caption read?

Follow the jump for winners from Friday's C-a-C featuring the kneeling King of Ks:

Mark Reynolds is going to need a minute

1st — Hambone. "A.J. Hinch's strategy of making Mark Reynolds(notes) chug Barton's Vodka as punishment for each strikeout proves to be a problem when he actually has to run the bases."

2nd — It's Laker Nation. "No, Mr. First Base, I do not 'Live for This!'"

3rd — Nate. "Heavy is the head that wears the 'co-NL PLayer of the Week' crown."

HM — BD. "Our fans, who art seated, patient be thy disposition, thy WS ring come, thy attendance go up, in the regular season as it is in the post, give us this day our daily hit, and forgive us our strikeouts, as we forgive those who strikeout when we are at third. Lead us not into arbitration, but deliver us from free agency, for thine is the ballpark, the longball, and the victory dance, for ever and ever."
