Bobbled! Torii Hunter gets assist on Casey McGehee home run
The Los Angeles Angels claim that outfielder Torii Hunter(notes) has pulled back more than 30 home runs in his career. But this one had too much spirit for Hunter to reel in.
In fact, Hunter appears to knock — or, bobble, if you will — Casey McGehee's(notes) long fly beyond the fence in center at Angel Stadium on Monday night. In more fact, the play happens next to an advertisement for an upcoming Joe Saunders(notes) bobblehead promotion.
Oh, the irony. Bobblehead? Bobblehomer!
And who threw the pitch to Milwaukee's McGehee? None other than left-hander Joe Saunders himself. Oh, the more irony!
D'oh! (Or, J'oh!)
