On the Hoof: Stoudt has a tall, lean body structure with long limbs and plenty of room to grow. His build is like a young, flame-throwing baseball prospect. Stoudt should physically remind fans of Oregon signee Bryan Bennett.
Needs Improvement: Stoudt will need to add some muscle mass and strength, which should make him more durable and improve his overall arm strength. He must get into the habit of transferring his weight instead of throwing flat-footed because the ball has a tendency to fade as it reaches the receiver.
Most Impressive: He possesses the desired height and overall frame of a traditional pro-style quarterback. Accuracy on short and midrange throws is his forte. He does get good depth on his drops and knows how to take snaps under center and in the shotgun.
Conclusion: He is a raw but very talented prospect who may need a couple of years of seasoning and filling out. Don't underestimate size and football smarts as two very important ingredients for the making of a solid college quarterback.
