Scouting Report on Troy Gillenwater

A versatile player, Gillenwater is a true combo forward who can play both forward positions and is a big time midrange scoring threat. He can also shoot it to the arc and put the ball on the floor. Inside, he can grind out points and rebounds. It is on defense where he is more of a tweener, but offensively he creates serious match up issues.

Jerry Meyer serves as a national scout and recruiting analyst for He played at Lipscomb University where be became college basketball's all-time career assist leader. Meyer earned Mr. Basketball honors in the state of Tennessee as a high school junior and senior. He has served as an assistant coach at Vanderbilt and also co-authored the book, "Basketball Skills and Drills."
