On the Hoof: Lean upper body and built more like a slot receiver or a corner. His build is similar to Florida speedster Jeffery Demps.
Needs Improvement: Buie is small in stature and there will be questions about whether he could ever be the type of back that touches the ball more than 10 times a game. He needs to add at least 15-20 pounds of muscle mass, which will help with durability and breaking arm tackles.
Most Impressive: This burner changes directions on a dime. Buie is athletic and versatile enough to play some slot receiver and return punts. In space, he is nearly impossible to tackle.
Conclusion: Though slight, he is too quick and fast to sit on the bench. His offensive coordinator will find ways to get him the ball in space early in his career. Expect him to become the quintessential all-purpose back in college.
