Scouting Report on Tevin Baskin

by Jerry Meyer - 08/20/2007
A good athlete with a strong motor, Baskin does a lot of damage in transition and on the offensive boards. In the half court he is a slasher who also likes to post up. The skills are there to develop into a high-major three man, but he does need to improve his ball handling and shooting range.

Jerry Meyer serves as a national scout and recruiting analyst for Rivals.com. He played at Lipscomb University where be became college basketball's all-time career assist leader. Meyer earned Mr. Basketball honors in the state of Tennessee as a high school junior and senior. He has served as an assistant coach at Vanderbilt and also co-authored the book, "Basketball Skills and Drills."
