Scouting Report on K'Len Morris

by Jerry Meyer - 05/05/2005
Morris is a very good straight ahead athlete with speed and jumping ability. He is very good at getting into the lane and finishing with either hand, and he can rebound on both ends of the court. He is extremely dangerous as a defensive rebounder who can then ignite the fastbreak without making an outlet pass. He does need to improve his lateral quickness as a perimeter defender, and the consistency of his outside shot.

Jerry Meyer serves as a national scout and recruiting analyst for Rivals.com. He played at Lipscomb University where be became college basketball's all-time career assist leader. Meyer earned Mr. Basketball honors in the state of Tennessee as a high school junior and senior. He has served as an assistant coach at Vanderbilt and also co-authored the book, "Basketball Skills and Drills."
