Man’s body found floating in Hudson River off Upper West Side

A dead man was found floating in the Hudson River off the Upper West Side Sunday morning, according to cops.

Police found the body at about 8:55 a.m. near W. 79th St. An NYPD harbor unit boat brought the dead man ashore.

The man, who’s believed to be an adult, remained unidentified Sunday. An NYPD spokeswoman couldn’t immediately say how long police believe he’d been in the water.

The city medical examiner will determine his cause of death.
