Former Xavier University standout David West received a loud ovation from Golden State Warriors fans Tuesday night as he accepted his NBA Championship ring along with his 2017-18 teammates. West finished his NBA career with back-to-back titles as a member of the Warriors and announced his retirement in late August after 15 seasons in the league. West didn't win a title until he went to Golden State. He played in 1,034 regular-season and 118 playoff games for the Warriors (2016-18), the San Antonio Spurs (2015-16), the Indiana Pacers (2011-15) and the New Orleans Hornets (2003-11).
