Texans work out ex-Patriots LB Marquis Flowers

Caption Close The Texans worked out former New England Patriots and Detroit Lions linebacker Marquis Flowers, according to his agent. Flowers is a former Cincinnati Bengals sixth-round draft pick from Arizona. He was traded to the Patriots for a seventh-round pick last year. Flower had 10 tackles and 2 1/2 sacks in one game last season, finishing last year with 32 tackles and 3 1/2 sacks. He was cut by the Lions last month. The Texans also worked out running backs Josh Ferguson and Ralph Webb, cornerback Horace Richardson and offensive tackle Corey Robinson.
