The Cats will open the regional against No. 3 seed Kent State (41-17) on Friday at U.S. Steel Yard in Gary, Ind.
No. 1 Purdue (44-12) and No. 4 Valparaiso (35-23) are the other teams in the double-elimination regional. The winner will advance to the Super Regionals.
