Anthony Davis, John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins have each been invited to Team USA's minicamp to try out for the men's national team, which will be competing in the 2016 Olympic Games.
The tryouts will be held in July.
Davis was a member of the 2012 team as a last-minute addition following key injuries to post players, becoming the youngest gold medalist in American basketball Olympic history. He appeared in seven of Team USA’s eight games, logging 53 minutes, 26 points, 19 rebounds and three blocks.
Wall and Cousins were both part of the select team that summer, scrimmaging against the national team and acting as de facto reserves.
Then, Cousins was told he had some "growing up to do" by Team USA executives. But he was extended an invite this week, Yahoo! Sports reported, as they projected toward 2016.
"You bury the past and go forward," USA Basketball chairman Jerry Colangelo said. "He's invited and he's definitely on the list. New year, new summer, new opportunity."
