The weekly rankings update:
Kentucky is back in the AP Top 25 poll -- checking in at No. 25.
UK received 87 points, and are ranked in between Colorado State and Minnesota.
The Wildcats were last ranked on Nov. 26 -- a full 10 weeks ago -- before their losses at Notre Dame and Baylor dropped them out of the poll.
The Wildcats remained outside the top 25, checking in at No. 31. They received 27 points, 23 more than the previous week.
Where winning is losing: Kentucky dropped three spots in the NCAA's official RPI rankings, to No. 49, following a week of wins against South Carolina and Auburn.
The drop was also likely due to the continued slide of Maryland (ranked No. 73) and Ole Miss (No. 45), two season wins that continue to look retroactively worse.
This week's opponents: Florida (No. 7 AP, No. 6 coaches, No. 4 RPI,) and Tennessee (unranked in human polls, No. 85 RPI).
