CBS sent a release on its future NCAA Tournament coverage plans, and it includes joint coverage with TBS.

The championship game telecast will stay on CBS for the next two years, while the Final Four games will both be on TBS for 2014 and 2015.

In 2016, TBS will broadcast both the Final Four and championship, and then CBS gets all three games in 2017, and so on, through 2024.

Sweet 16 and Elite 8 games will be split between the two networks for the entire duration of the media rights deal.

CBS has been the only network to televise the national championship game since 1982.
