Patrick says she’ll be ready for 2010
HOMESTEAD, Fla. (AP)—Danica Patrick offered her strongest hint yet that she’s returning to the IndyCar series in 2010.
Patrick’s future has been the subject of incessant speculation for months, and she won’t confirm reports that she’s agreed to a three-year extension with Andretti Green Racing through 2012.
But after finishing 19th in Saturday’s IRL-season-ending Indy 300, Patrick said, “We know what we need to do, and we’ll be ready for next year.”
Patrick finished a career-best fifth in the IRL standings this season. She is exploring some possibilities with NASCAR as well.

Ashley Force hasn't done too badly in the NHRA Funny Car division, so far; and it doesn't hurt that her old man is John Force. The media haven't swooned over her like love-sick teenagers either; like they have witth Mrs. Hospenthal.
I know what cetury this is, William the guttersnipe.

Le't give NASCAR some right hand turns with some hills and straight aways. Then NASCAR can stay around.

IRL racing is exciting, too bad not too many of us can see it when it's on Versus.

mucho dinero...no stress, no messy end over ends into the infield. She is a nice smooth driver,
but not at this level...let alone NASCAR or God forbid, Formula I. It's nice that she's around, but
she'll never be the next female A.J. Foyt. Ciao.

For all you tools that thinks she can't drive consider that she was the top driver for AGR and penske/ganasi cars won 15 of 17 races this season.
AGR has some major problems to resolve or they will never win any races again.

wasn't a great driver, but because I associate him more with the midgets. He was, as you say,
"King Of The Rim Riders". The only other driver that I can remember who came close to matching him was the late Eddie Casterline, a midget driver from New England, who was killed in a crash in 1947. Thanks for pointing me at the "Duke".

So, Mrs. Hospenthal, saying it one thing, doing it is another.
I think there will be more pressure on her next year, than ever before - Michael Andretti may say to her, "You did this tease about your plans, leaving everyone guessing. We signed you back with us, so you'd better do more than just pose in mags and throw hissy fits".

Ganassi, if you got it baby, flaunt it. Top teams with top money win championships. Like I said earlier
this month, we won't have "la Danica" to kick around for a while. And, I may add I was happy to read her final comments on her rocky season..."we know what we have to do!" Boy, that ought to make her
legion of fans feel better. Sort of like a comment possibly made by the German field commander
at Stalingrad in 1943. Well, time to sharpen the skates and get into hockey season; not forgetting
that the SI swimsuit issue is just around the corner. Maybe over the off season we could reminisce
about some real American driving champs like A.J., the Unsers, Rex Mays, Phil Hill and Roger Ward.
