South Korea's Bo Bae Song won the Mizuno Classic for her first LPGA Tour title, closing with a 4-under 68 on Sunday for a three-stroke victory over Lorena Ochoa, Brittany Lang and Hee Young Park. Song finished with a 15-under 201 total at Kintetsu Kashikojima and earned $210,000 in the event co-sanctioned by the Japan LPGA.

Paul Casey of England has withdrawn from the final round of the HSBC Champions after feeling pain in his ribs that had kept him away for golf for nearly three months. Casey withdrew Sunday after a triple bogey on the par-5 second hole. He is No. 5 in the Race to Dubai, and this all but assures he will not be able to compete for the $7.5 million bonus.

HSBC has extended its sponsorship of the Women's Champions tournament in Singapore until 2012 but the prize money will be cut from $2 million to $1.3 million for next year's LPGA event.

The HSBC Women's Champions will remain part of the LPGA Tour schedule for the next three years after the title sponsor announced a three-year contract renewal. The HSBC Women's Champions will be played Feb. 25-28 in Singapore with a $1.3 million purse. Saturday's announcement was a boost for the LPGA Tour, which goes into 2010 trying to keep as many title sponsors as possible.
