Did you watch the Frys.com Open over the weekend? No? Then you missed some fine golf and maybe, just maybe, the dawning of a new superstar. Troy Matteson, Rickie Fowler and Jamie Lovemark took the tournament into extra innings, where ... well, here, I'll let Mr. Video Person explain:
Impressive work from Mr. Fowler, who's already being heralded as one of golf's next great saviors. (We'll get to that later today.) Congrats to Matteson, who earlier in the tournament set a PGA record for the lowest consecutive rounds with two 61s. Yes, you read that correctly -- Troy Matteson went where Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Arnold Palmer and everyone else who's ever played golf has never tread before. Not bad, huh? See? You should be watching more golf. You never know when history will show up.
