Devil Ball Golf - Golf

How's this for a decent little Sunday matchup? Tiger Woods, host of the AT&T National and the unquestioned master of the game now, if not for all time, will pair up with heir apparent and defending AT&T champ Anthony Kim for Sunday's final round.

For all his accolades, Kim has never played a final round with Woods, and now he'll get the chance to see up close how he'll fare in a spot that has crumbled dozens of other golfer. Kim has literally been waiting for this moment for all his golfing life -- as the AP notes, he used to envision playing with Woods and facing a 10-foot putt for the win ... back when he was 10 years old.

Sunday, he'll get his chance. Both Kim and Woods have carded amazing saves and head-shaking misfires. Woods, for instance, gave away three strokes in two holes on Saturday, allowing Kim back into the game. And Kim, after firing a course-record 62 on Thursday, settled down and steadied himself into a -10 performance through three days.  (That's him in the red shirt above, playing with Jim Furyk on Saturday.)

Everything Kim has done has led up to this moment -- but nothing he's done could have prepared him for the challenge he now faces. Woods is 45-3 when holding at least a share of the lead heading into Sunday. It's now up to Kim to see if he'll beat the odds ... or just become No. 46.

If Anthony Kim is the future of professional golf then the game is in big trouble. Tiger lounged around the course on Saturday making up 3 strokes in two holes at one point but otherwise just trying to avoid a blowout in his own tournament . Actually Hunter Mahan who was 7 under after 17 made the best challenge, coming from about 16th on the leaderboard to 2nd. Mahan can do these kind of things and as Superman pointed out Kim is going to have to open his eyes. He still has about 8 to go--- LYFAO !!!!!
Hey Candice --- Try your finger you'll have better luck !!!!!

Kim will one day be great but no one today is better than Tiger Woods. Tiger just has to stop beatting himself. we all know that no one else can.. when Tiger is on his game everyone is playing to see who will come in second.... I remember Jack (Nicholas) was like that... Now the bear is a spectator its Tiger's world now....

There is NO "heir apparent" to Tiger Woods!! There are alot of young guns coming along who have a longer drive than Woods does, but only because he's changed his game. There are some who can challenge him on occasion, but never consistently, week in and week out! Whether you like him or not (and I do) Tiger Woods is one of a kind. No one else, right now, has the single minded determination to be the very best at what he does, like Tiger Woods. Personall, I wish he wouldn't use the profanity in public and wish he would be more approachable. But if he did, he wouldn't be Tiger Woods: He'd just be another Mickelson or Garcia or whatever. Making a living a professional golf, but not being the biggest draw in the sport.
