About this time last year, Briny Baird stepped up to the edge of a San Diego skyscraper and launched balls into Petco Park far, far below. It was part of a promotion by P.F. Chang's to win the entire nation free lettuce wraps. Thanks, Briny!
One year later and we've got Annika Sorenstam and Baird atop Waterside Plaza, a skyscraper overlooking the East River in New York City. If she could drop one of her shots onto a floating target, hey — more free food! Did she do it? Watch and see ...
Woo-hoo! Let's eat!
Anyway, this wasn't just about stuffing America's face with Chinese food. PF Chang's also donated $100,000 to Intrepid Fallen Heroes as part of the stunt. Don Vickery, a veteran and the only double-amputee Class A member of the PGA of America, also joined in the fun.
Congrats to Annika, Briny, Don and PF Chang's. Now, where's my food? (Click here to find out how to get your eats.)
