So, is 'naked' a violation of the LPGA's dress code?

Sandra Gal, Anna Grzebien and Christina Kim model the latest in birthday suits for the latest issue of ESPN The Magazine, the infamous "Body" issue. It's a pretty impressive layout, no pun intended, and worth at least a furtive readthrough at the local bookstore. Just stay away from the too-wrinkled copies.

While there are some undeniably admirable and impressive bodies within, there's also the horrific sight of several World Series of Poker stars in the buff. Whew ... anybody who thinks golfers aren't athletes ought to compare those doughboys with the lovely ladies above.

    A few months down the road the LPGA is going to cry they are seen more as pinup girls rather than pro athletes.

    #11 you are an idiot like #12 said the women in this picture did this full well knowning that men would be seeing this and knowing that they would be seen in a sexual manner. The idea about them being someones mother/daughter/wife/grandma or whatever you'd like them to be in YOUR sick fantasy does not matter. These woman are woman, this isn't the 40's grandpa they fought for their right to express themselves however strikes their fancy.

    i think this is absurd. imagine yo daughter or son looking at naked ladies. where has dignity gone? morality isnt an issue anymore, there is no shame left, if its for money, people are willing to lay naked. lets wait for their grandchildren to see those pictures, the shame will kill them then.

    Oh, come on! These are not sexually provocative poses - they are just women without clothes. Geez, a naked body is not necessarily salacious or lewd - there is no intent here to provide anyone with fantasies - unless that's YOUR intent. And Rich? #17? I'd bet anything you've got a beer gut and man-boobies.........
