On the Hoof: Has excellent height, long arms and an athletic, basketball-player build. He could easily end up playing at 225 pounds and still keep his impressive athleticism. He physically will remind fans of LSU’s Jordan Jefferson.
Needs Improvement: Needs to work on touch and getting air under his fade passes. Bolden also needs to improve his depth on drops which should improve timing and accuracy.
Most Impressive: Possesses possibly the strongest arm in the country as he threw laser shot after laser shot at the Elite 11. Also has excellent mobility and will be able to create yards that college coaches can’t script.
Conclusion: A very hard-working, intelligent player that if given the opportunity to redshirt and learn the offensive system, could really flourish and develop into a defensive coordinator’s worst nightmare. Expect big things to happen for Bolden down the road, including one day getting the opportunity to play at the highest level.
