Winston-Salem, NC - Carver High offensive tackle Chris Hairston made his verbal commitment to Clemson during Shrine Bowl workouts in Spartanburg last month. Before that ever took place he had already had an in-home visit with Clemson defensive line coach Marion Hobby. But yesterday the 6-foot-5, 270-pound lineman, joined by his mother, met Tommy Bowden for the first time at his school.
