Following a 38-10 beatdown at the hands of No. 2 Alabama (5-0), Florida (4-1) slipped to No. 17 in the AP Poll this week.

UF entered the game with Alabama at No. 12, but the Gators were unable to pull off the upset at home.

This week, Florida will travel to Baton Rouge to take on No. 1 LSU (5-0). And the following week, UF will have another road game against No. 15 Auburn as part of an impossibly tough October stretch.

The Gators opened the season at No. 22 and could be in danger of dropping out of the poll with a bad loss to the Tigers this Saturday.

Florida is ranked No. 18 in the USA Today poll.
