Next Match: at home to Napoli, December 21

Cagliari midfielder Daniele Dessena is confident his team can pull out a surprise win against Napoli on Saturday. The Sardinian outfit has won just four league games this season but go into the encounter in the Mediterranean island riding a five-match unbeaten run in Serie A. "It's true that Napoli are one of the best sides in Italy, along with Juventus and Roma," Dessena said. "They are a tough team to take on and we will need to be at our best to get a positive result. However, we are proving ourselves to be a side with great character and hunger. We want to take home the three points." Cagliari, who will be without suspended defender Luca Rossettini for this weekend's match, were held Parma to a goalless draw last time out to climb to 12th place.
