Miroslav Djukic has insisted he is confident about Valencia's future, despite the fact the club was put up for sale by Bankia during the week as a last resort to dealing with its colossal debt. He told reporters: "I'm not worried. Valencia has a great history, infrastructure and a large fan base. The club's future in Valencia will always be safe. The coach revealed that the squad will receive a visit from president Amadeo Salvo in the next few days to hear what will happen to the club, but added: "There's no need to be alarmed. We know that we are a huge club and we have to dedicate ourselves to getting things right on the pitch. If we can help the club solve it's off-field problems on the pitch then we will have done a good job."
