Next Match: away to Valladolid, November 29 Tenerife has not found life in the Primera Division to be that easy on returning to the top-flight for the first time since 2001. The Canary Islanders have won just three of their 11 matches so far - all at home - and all of their 10 points have come at home. Jose Luis Oltra's side have lost all five of their away matches, but will hope to change that sorry statistic at Valladolid on Sunday. Juanlu Hens should shake off a knock, but Dani Kome is doubtful. Tenerife lost 2-1 at home to Sevilla last weekend, but fought hard in that match. "If we keep playing like we did against Sevilla, we will be on the right track," defender Ezequiel Luna said. Tenerife is currently three points clear of the drop zone. |
