 Team Report
Next Match: at home to Real Zaragoza, November 22

Malaga's start to the season has been nothing short of atrocious. The Andalusians kicked off with an impressive 3-0 win at home to Atletico Madrid, but have picked up just two points since then and coach Juan Ramon Lopez Muniz looks to be increasingly under pressure as his side props up the Primera Division table. Midfielder Juanito believes Malaga must beat Zaragoza at home on Sunday. "We have to change the negative dynamic and win the three points," he said. Youngster Edu Ramos is sidelined, but Lopez Muniz should have an otherwise full-strength squad available. This season's start is a far cry from last term for Malaga, when the Andalusians were competing for a place in European competition following their return to the top-flight.
