 Team Report
Next Match: away to Rayo Vallecano, December 14

Lucas Alcaraz has insisted his side are taking their Copa del Rey tie with Alcorcon seriously, and issued a warning to any of his players who might be intending on giving less than 100 percent against the Segunda Division side. "Anyone who isn't motivated to play against Alcorcon won't have to motivate themselves for the match with Rayo Vallecano (in the league the following weekend)," Alcaraz told a press conference. The coach pledged to put out a competitive team against the Madrid side, adding: "The name of the club is at stake in every official game and we have to give as dignified and competitive performance as possible. There is no such thing as a match where there isn't the obligation or the pressure to win."
