Since thrashing Sevilla at the Sanchez Pizjuan late last month, Almeria has gone off the boil. The Andalusian side is safe from relegation, but defeats at Getafe and Valladolid, and a disappointing tie at home to Betis, have seen Unai Emery's side drop off the pace in the hunt for a place in the UEFA Cup. Almeria is now seven points adrift of sixth-placed Racing Santander with only two games remaining and therefore cannot qualify for Europe, but Emery says the season has been a success. "We have dropped back a little in the last couple of weeks, but whatever happens, we have had a great season and I am proud of my players," he said. Bruno Saltor returns from suspension, but Felipe Melo is doubtful for Sunday's game against Recreativo Huelva.
