Borussia Monchengladbach is considering offloading Dutch striker Luuk de Jong this winter with the player unhappy about his lack of first-team opportunities. Signed in 2012, the Netherlands under-21 international has failed to make a considerably impact in the Bundesliga and, with little over six months to go before the start of the World Cup, he has admitted he would prefer to be playing regularly. "It's hard to show what you can do in such a short space of time," De Jong told the Bild newspaper. "Of course I would prefer to be successful with Gladbach and I'm working hard in training. I still have the World Cup in the back of my mind, but of course I need to be playing for that."
