Next Match: away to Nurnberg, November 28

Freiburg coach Robin Dutt admitted his side had been given a lesson in the fine art of soccer during last weekend's 6-0 defeat to Werder Bremen. Dutt praised Bremen, who he labelled the "strongest team in Germany", adding that even he had been moved by his opponent's performance. "If I had not been coach of Freiburg, I would have also applauded them," he said. Dutt was still able to take something positive out of his side's eighth defeat of the season. "We still tried to hold firm, but our engagement was not rewarded with a goal. I cannot criticise the lads, they gave everything," he said. "Even the fans realised this and supported us to the end." A large following of fans is expected to accompany Freiburg to Nurnberg Saturday.
